For example...Long Island, northern New Jersey, southwestern Connecticut, and some counties in "upstate" New York such as Westchester are all considered part of the greater NYC area. There is no official designation of what comprises this area, it's just a figure of speech.



New York City itself is in the United States, which means that the greater NYC area is also in the United States.

My buddy it relies upon on the time of day, the site visitors and how some distance are you going. Taxis in manhattan city are fee by the meter fee.
