next yr, i'm going to washington dc to see the next pres be inaugurated, then we are going to NYC!

which broadway play of those listed are the best?
we are voting to see which one we will see, but i just want to know the reviews about them!

You're talking about coming here after the presidential inauguration????



You do know that that is in January of next year? By then there will be new plays on Broadway, and perhaps some of the current plays will have closed.



Broadway isn't like Disneyland (though it's starting to SEEM like it!) There is a Broadway season, and plays do open and close.



Why don't you wait till next November or December or so, to figure out what you want to see? By then you'll have a better idea of what will be available.

Wicked is definitely the best on that list - and it will appeal the widest variety of people. I've seen it three times - the music is great and so are the sets/special effects. Lion King is also high up in that category - very good show and likeable by most people, whether they like Broadway shows or not.



Spamalot is very funny, although depending on if Clay Aiken is still in it, might be a harder ticket to get.



Jersey Boys - very good, and the new cast has gotten very good reviews.



Chicago has rotating celebrities in the cast - check and make sure you will like the leads before seeing it! (I think that is the show Nicole Richie is supposed to go into...)



I would not recommend Grease, it was not very good. Phantom is a long-running classic, but some in your group may find it boring.



Drowsy Chaperone was great, but it has closed already!

Jersey Boys hands down. It didn't win a tony award for nothing. I saw it in Chicago and it blew me away.
