Best deal ever: Gray's Papaya. Two NYC hot dogs and your choice of drink for like $2.75. It's amazing, and open all the time. There are a few locations around NYC, the one I like is on 8th Ave and 36 or 37th. Diners are also a good deal...

oh ya, I definitely recommend Greys papaya too. Its a great corner store with a little metal shelf around the walls where you can stand, eat, and go. Also, nothing beats an NYC hot dog stand.

If you're vegetarian (or even if you arent) i would definitely recommend Dojo, on 8th street (st marks place). They have an INCREDIBLY good item on their menu called the Dojo burger, and no, they won't give you the recipe (they know how delciious it is and they're afraid you might steal it!)
