Does the L train work on weekends?

This is MTA related, so if you live in New York and know anything about their schedule, which changes constantly, please tell me if it works on weekends or just this weekend.

The L train runs 24/7/365. You'll have to check www.mta.info for any possible service changes due to trackwork.

My friend, the L train does run on weekends. However, track work and regular maintenance work may suspend service on portions of the line in both direction. When that happens, shuttle bus service replace the train.



It should be noted, that he MTA has a little weekend map called the Weekender, which will give you all the information you need to know about weekend subway changes across the city. You can check by station, by line or by borough.



The map is active from Friday afternoon until early Monday morning on the MTA's website at the link below.
